A Referral Service for Hands-On Homeowners
Faucetleak Plumbing is a referral service. We connect homeowners in the Knoxville area with independent plumbing providers who handle emergencies, clogged drains and sewer line problems. We do not employ plumbers, and we do not do repairs ourselves.
This site is written for people who like to understand their own house. You will find plain steps you can take yourself, such as shutting off the water or clearing a sink trap, and a clear point where it makes sense to bring in a licensed provider.
Why This Site Exists
Plumbing problems are stressful, and it is hard to know who to trust when water is on the floor. Many homeowners also worry about getting talked into work they do not need. We want to make the first step simple: you explain the problem, and a local provider follows up with a plan and a written price.
We also care about the long view. A repair done right protects floors, walls and framing, and it keeps the house in good shape for a future sale. That matters even more in older homes, where old pipes and past patch jobs can hide surprises.
How a Provider Is Matched
When you submit the estimate form or call, we look at where you are and what kind of help you need. We then pass your request to an independent provider in our network who serves that area and handles that type of job. The provider contacts you to ask questions and set up a visit.
Provider availability changes from day to day, and each provider sets their own hours. We cannot promise a set response time.
What We Ask of Providers
We expect providers in our network to:
- Hold the licenses and insurance their work requires
- Explain the problem in plain language
- Give a written quote before work starts
- Treat your home and your time with respect
We encourage you to confirm a provider's license and insurance yourself before hiring. If a provider falls short, tell us. Feedback helps us keep the network honest.
What We Do Not Do
Faucetleak Plumbing does not inspect homes, perform repairs, set prices or make promises about any provider's work. We are not a party to the agreement between you and a provider. Any questions about the work, the price or the schedule go to the provider you hire.
How We Are Paid
Faucetleak Plumbing may be paid by providers or marketing partners for calls and referrals. You do not pay us anything. You pay the provider directly for any work you agree to, at the price they set. You are never under any obligation to hire the provider you talk to.
