How Our Network Works
Start with a quick estimate request
The People You Talk To
When you contact Faucetleak Plumbing, you are reaching a referral service. Your request goes to an independent plumbing provider in our network who serves your area. From that point, the person you talk with works for that provider and not for us. They can answer questions about the job, the visit and the price.
What the First Conversation Covers
Expect a few plain questions. The provider will want to know what is happening, where in the house it is, and whether the water is shut off. They may ask how old the home is and what kind of pipe it has, if you know. Then they will talk about when they can come out and whether there is a service fee.
Have these ready if you can:
- A short description of the problem and when it started
- Whether more than one fixture is affected
- Photos of the leak, the clog or any damage
- The age of the house and any past plumbing repairs you know about
Questions Worth Asking a Plumber
You have every right to ask questions before anyone starts work. A few good ones:
- Are you licensed and insured for this kind of job?
- What is the service fee, and does it go toward the repair?
- Can you give me the price in writing before you begin?
- Is there a warranty on the parts or labor, and what does it cover?
- Will you show me the part that failed or the camera footage?
A provider who answers clearly is usually a good sign. If the answers are vague, it is fine to look elsewhere.
You Decide What Happens Next
Talking with a provider does not commit you to anything. You can hear the plan, get the quote and take time to think. You can compare quotes from other plumbers. If you decide not to hire, that is your choice to make, and there is no obligation.
For older homes, it is worth asking the provider what they notice beyond the problem at hand. They may point out a corroded valve or a tired section of drain line. You can then plan that work on your own schedule.
